Week Beginning - 03.11.2008
Monday 3rd November: BOBBY CHARLES is declared for the last at Nottingham on Wednesday while SILENT APPLAUSE and LADY ANGELICA may be required to forego their day of rest on Sunday. They both have entries at Kempton. Tuesday 4th November: LADY ANGELICA receives an alternative entry at Southwell on Monday. The 'end of term' fields are a little oversubscribed and she is not a certainty to get in at either Kempton or Southwell. If at first you don't get a run, keep entering!
Thursday 6th November: Good old BOBBY CHARLES did us proud yesterday at filthy, dirty, wet, dark Nottingham! After an absence from the course of over 450 days he put in a thoroughly professional performance to finish a hugely encouraging 7th. It was almost a re-run of his debut as a three year old at the very same venue. Compare the ' Racing Post's' analysis of his first and most recent efforts!

Friday 7th November: The trip to Kempton on Sunday will be made by both SILENT APPLAUSE and LADY ANGELICA. Initial indications suggested that the filly would be balloted out but, thanks to mass division of races, she's in! Richard Thomas rides. He's struck up a good understanding with her and she is equipped with eye-shields (pacifiers, as they are known in the States) to try and settle her to get the mile trip. Her travelling companion will be partnered by Steve Drowne.
