Thursday 19th February:

Improved weather conditions have made exercising horses much less stressful this week.

Wednesday 25th February:

Glad tidings at the weekend. DOLLY COUGHDROP produced a fine filly foal by First Trump in the early hours of Sunday morning. This is her first foal and she will return to the same stallion.

And our Mark of Esteem colt, 'Gorgeous George', has progressed all the way to having a jockey on his back and that without too much protest.

Thursday 26th February:

CONTEMPLATE has been given a tentative entry at Lingfield next Wednesday. The race is a 7 furlong maiden.

Saturday 28th February:

Five weeks after his arrival at Red House Stables, George is ridden away. Having followed the trusty hack BRONX BOMBER round the yard attached to the lunge rein, he is finally released and left to his own devices.
