Stabling
Red House Stables sits on a 3 and a half acre site along the
Hamilton Road on Racecourse Side in Newmarket. The horses
are housed in 3 American style barns designed by the trainer The boxes are spacious, light and well ventilated. A central
building consisting of the tack room and feed room
completes the complex.
Gallops
Once they step outside the gates of the yard the inmates of Red House
Stables have instant access to hundreds of acres of historic turf that make
up the best training grounds in the World and that echo with the hoofbeats
of generations of equine greats.
Paddocks and Turnout
There is a large paddock where retired or rested horses
can graze and "playpens" where the horses in training
can relax and pick grass and a sand lunging ring where
the team breaks in newcomers.
Horsebox
Jon has his own horsebox to travel to the races without the disruption of
having to use commercial transport.

Weighing
. In order to monitor the horses' weights as they train and
once they reach race fitness the trainer has invested in a top
of the range weighbridge.
