NICKNAME: GREYJO (we had 2 fillies both by Johannesburg at one stage so they acquired the names Greyjo and Bayjo). This filly is actually named after an iceberg. Icebergs do not generally acquire a name but one particularly large one became the subject of a naming competition set up by the British Antarctic Survey. 'Melting Bob' was suggested by a young boy who saw the mass bobbing and melting!

Wednesday 25th August:
It was good to see the yearling half-brother to MELTING BOB change hands for 50,000 guineas the Doncaster Premier Sales on Tuesday evening, despite being the last lot through. The Medaglia d'Oro colt has gone to a breeze up consigner so we may well see him back through the sale ring in the spring.
