2011 ARCHIVE

There is an awful lot going on in the world of racing at the moment and much comment is elicited. Many vitally important issues are causing heated debate as changes to our wonderful and historic sport are made. Much is contentious, some is more than acceptable. Thoughts and observations from this small voice will appear here, the rants tempered by some of the better aspects of the game about which we may rave.

Monday 16th January: Fair play to Fakenham. Tomorrow's meeting has already been abandoned after an adverse weather forecast. No need, therefore, for delayed decision-making in the morning and the possibility of running on unfit ground. Today's meeting went ahead at Plumpton but there were plenty of non-runners due to underfoot conditions.
