Saturday 18th June: 2010: 
It's encouraging to see 'our families' making the headlines. SILENT APPLAUSE'S full-sister SCARLETT ROSE seems to have produced a nice type in the Footstepsinthesand 2 year old colt FORMOSINA. Having caught the eye at the foal sales he changed hands for 50,000 guineas and was re-sold as a yearling for 105,000 guineas, going into training here in Newmarket with Jeremy Noseda. He made his debut at Newbury in a hot, hot maiden won by subsequent Royal Ascot winner Strong Suit. His next outing saw him pull off a bloodless and impressive victory at Doncaster and he looks to be on his way to competing in Group company

Sunday 27th June 2010:
SILENT APPLAUSE'S full-sister produces the winner of the Group 2 Railway  Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon. FORMOSINA, the 2 year old colt out of his full-sister SCARLETT ROSE popped his nose in front on the line, thus ending the Ballydoyle stranglehold on this particular race.

Saturday 18th September 2010:
How exciting to see Formosina power through into second place in the Mill Reef at Newbury this afternoon. He is out of Scarlett Rose, daughter of BILLIE BLUE, full sister to SILENT APPLAUSE and half-sister to CONTEMPLATE and TWELFTH MAN.
